WHAT IS EMBROIDERY?
Embroidery is the art of taking your logo, using the latest embroidery software to digitising it in to a computerised format for our machines to understand.
Put simply, we apply your logo on to almost any garment using a needle and thread. 
 
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I LIKE IT?
Once you place your order with us, we will set up the embroidery and run off a sample. This sample we will email to you for approval. We will not embroider any garment from your order until you have approved the sample. Easy.
 
HOW DO I GET FREE SET UP?
If you order over 100 garments from us and the garments need embroidery, we will set up the embroidery and provide the sample free of charge.
 
WHAT CAN YOU APPLY EMBROIDERY TO?
The great thing about embroidery is that it can be applied to just about every garment and just about every fabric. It is because embroidery is so incredibly versatile that it also makes it one of the most cost effective methods of branding apparel.
 
WHY USE EMBROIDERY?
First and foremost it provides one of the most professional looking options for branding your chosen garment(s). The next major benefit is that generally speaking, embroidery will out last your garment. Finally and possibly most importantly, it is cost effective!
 
WHAT FORMAT DOES OUR LOGO NEED TO BE IN FOR EMBROIDERY?
Generally speaking a JPEG, GIF, PNG are all we really need. A vector art file from Illustrator or CorelDraw (.eps, .ai, .cdr) gives the best results and is much easier for us to work with.
 
WHY DOESN'T THE WEBSITE AUTOMATICALLY ADD ALL THE EMBROIDERY AND SET UP PRICES?
In our industry, we have so many options that are dependent upon so many variations to do with your logo, that we find it better to quote on a job by job basis. 
 
EXTRA EMBROIDERY FEES SUBJECT TO YOUR JOB AND OR LOGO.
 
NEW LOGO SET UP FEE.
 $70 (exc gst)
 
REPEAT WORK FEE.
No fee.
 
EXTRA STITCH FEE.
Price displayed on website is for logos up to 10,000 stitches.
We will not know the final price of the embroidery file until it is set up and approved by the customer.
Once we know the final stitch count and should it exceed 10,000 stitches, the embroidery will incur a $1 per 1,000 stitches fee.
 
EXTRA COLOUR FEE.
Price displayed on website is for logos up to 5 colours.
Should a logo exceed 5 colours, the embroidery will incur a $1 per extra colour fee.
 
UNPACKING OF GARMENTS FEE.
We charge 0.50c to unpack the garment and prepare for embroidery. This fee also includes the disposal of the packaging.
 
BAG FEE.
To embroider bags, the embroidery will incur a 50% price increase due to the complexities invovled with branding bags.

Screen Print

WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen Printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.
 
ARE THERE ANY BASE COLOURS?
If you are printing on to dark garments, we will need to place a base colour down to stop the ink from sinking in to the garment and losing its colour. This base colour is regarded and charged as an additional colour.
 
WHEN IS IT BEST TO USE SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen printing is the best option for large orders requiring branding as it is the most cost effective. Screen printing works best on flat fabrics and is a long lasting method of branding.
 
WHY USE SCREEN PRINTING?

DTG Print

WHAT IS DTG PRINTING?

Direct To Garment printers, also known as DTG printers or digital garment printers, are designed to print directly onto cotton based shirts, caps, bags, pillow cases, home furnishings and promotional items using specialised inkjet technology.

DTG inkjet garment printing is more economical, faster, and cleaner than traditional screen printing methods, plus it requires significantly less operating space and business set-up costs. Decorators and t-shirt designers can create one of a kind masterpieces or mass production runs - regardless of the number of colours - without having to create film positives, stretching screens, and using chemicals to reclaim screens.

ARE THERE ANY BASE COLOURS?
No. You only pay for what you see. PLUS.... with this form of printing, you can print UNLIMITED Colours in your design and not be charged anything extra!
 
WHEN IS IT BEST TO USE DTG PRINTING?
DTG Printing is ideal for short run orders and cotton rich garments. Unlike screen printing the great thing about DTG printing is that there is one flat fee for printing

Transfer Print

WHAT IS TRANSFER PRINTING?

Transfer Printing is the process of printing your designs onto a special, transferrable vinyl material. We can use transfer printing for both light and dark coloured T-Shirts or any other garments. The material used for dark T-Shirts and garments is slightly thicker compared to the white ones. The material used when printing onto white garments is transparent and therefore uses the white of the garment to make the colours stand out whereas the base vinyl for coloured garments is white and so the colours are printed used a CMYK process on top of the white substrate.

ARE THERE ANY BASE COLOURS?
No. You only pay for what you see. PLUS.... with this form of printing, you can print UNLIMITED Colours in your design and not be charged anything extra!
 
WHEN IS IT BEST TO USE TRANSFER PRINTING?
Transfer printing is perfect for small orders. It is cost effective, quick and has a decent shelf life. It is ideal for sporting clubs or small business due to the cost effectiveness of the print.

SAMPLES EXPLAINED...

If you are wanting to order samples, it is important that you read and understand the below Terms & Conditions for using our website.

The Uniform Super Store business model is a simple and efficient model that focusses on delivering the best possible products at the lowest possible prices. In order to provide the countries lowests prices for uniforms, we need to streamline our business processes. This means that as a wholesaler of apparel, we are able to sell to our customers thousands of products from leading brands. To save on overheads, we do not carry the stock in our business but rather order in the apparel as needed from our suppliers, to our factory where we do the embroidery and printing.

By not warehousing thousands of items, we are able to save our customers a lot of money! We have learnt with over 20 years experience in this industry, that Samples, Returns and Exchanges are one of the most expensive services, one of the most frustrating services and one of the most time consuming services to our customers and our staff. To avoid the hassles, we have streamlined this process acting in accordance with Fair Trading.

Customers can easily order a one or more garments from our website which we will send to you. Simply order the garment required from the website, make payment and we will ship to you. But... we do not accept Returns or Exchanges simply for a change of mind as permitted according to Fair Trading.

  • This policy of no refunds and exchanges is as per the policy guided by the Fair Trading .
  • No refunds or exchanges are entertained for incorrect choice of products or change of mind. Please double check the contents of the cart before finalizing the order.

We understand that our business model is not suited to everyone and for this reason, we make it very clear in a number of locations on our website how our business model operates. In fact, it is also in the T&C Agreed to by customers at time of order!

Should a customer order a product to view, they can send it back to us to be embroidered with thier bulk order but we will not able to accept it as a Return for Exchange or Refund unless the item is faulty. Our reason for not accepting Returns and Exchanges is simply because it is far to great a cost to customers which then causes frustration and anger. When a customer returns any item, we have to pay freight to send it back to our supplier. They charge us restocking fees. We then have to pay to get the replacement item and freight fees to have it delivered to us. We then have to pay freight to send it to the customer. This service costs us over $30 but customers simply refuse to pay that to do  a return or exchange and we get that! This is why we dont do returns and exchanges as it is simply not worth the time and expense to our customers.

We strongly recommned ordering a sample of a product on our site in a size and colour that you will use in your bulk order so that you can send it back to us and we will embroider it with your order. In fact, if your bulk order exceeds $1,000 and the samples are less than 5 units, we will embroider them for free with your bulk order! BONUS.

If you find that the product you received is faulty or has a manufacturing defect, please  notify us immediately by sending us an email to us at help4u@uniforms.com.au

  • Please include as much information and pictures of the faulty product so that we can take it up with the supplier and will endeavor to revert to you with 2 business days of receiving your email.
  • Please note that faulty items will either be repaired or replaced with an identical size, colour and SKU Code garment. Our suppliers will not let us change for a different product.

Should you require garments for sizing, we strongly suggest that you use the sizing chart as provided on the product page or you can buy the garment(s) and keep them for sizing your staff.
