WHAT IS EMBROIDERY?
Embroidery is the art of taking your logo, using the latest embroidery software to digitising it in to a computerised format for our machines to understand.Put simply, we apply your logo on to almost any garment using a needle and thread.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I LIKE THE EMBROIDERY?
Once you place your order with us, we will set up the embroidery and run off a sample. This sample we will email to you for approval. We will not embroider any garment from your order until you have approved the sample. Easy.***Please note that if your are ordering less then 10 units with a new set up, we will provide a digital set up only for approval and not an actual embroidery sample.
HOW CAN I GET FREE EMBROIDERY SET UP?
If you order over 100 garments from us and the garments need embroidery, we will set up the embroidery and provide the sample free of charge.
WHAT CAN YOU APPLY EMBROIDERY TO?
The great thing about embroidery is that it can be applied to just about every garment and just about every fabric. It is because embroidery is so incredibly versatile that it also makes it one of the most cost effective methods of branding apparel.

WHAT IS DTF PRINTING?
DTF Printing is the process of printing your designs onto a special, transferrable material. We can use this method of printing for both light and dark coloured T-Shirts or any other garments. The material used for dark T-Shirts and garments is slightly thicker compared to the white ones. The material used when printing onto white garments is transparent and therefore uses the white of the garment to make the colours stand out whereas the base vinyl for coloured garments is white and so the colours are printed used a CMYK process on top of the white substrate.

WHY DO I NEED TO PAY A REPEAT SET UP FEE?
Setting up the print machine and software for your logo(s) can be time consuming. It is not as simple as just getting the garment and putting your print on it. We have our staff have to recreate the artwork and then put in to the print machine and then print the garments. This is why we need to charge a repeat set up fee to cover the costs incurred with getting everything ready so that we can do a high quality print job for you.

The Ultimate Print to Garment Method is here.Screen printing has been around since Pharoah was a child. It is the ulitmate form of printing as it is a brilliant product at a cheap price for large orders.
WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen Printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.
ARE THERE ANY BASE COLOURS?
If you are printing on to dark garments, we will need to place a base colour down to stop the ink from sinking in to the garment and losing its colour. This base colour is regarded and charged as an additional colour.
WHEN IS IT BEST TO USE SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen printing is the best option for large orders requiring branding as it is the most cost effective. Screen printing works best on flat fabrics and is a long lasting method of branding.

1. All artworks should be submitted in high resolution images with at least 300dpi picture quality. Both Vector and Pixelbased images are acceptable. If you are not sure, please check with your account manager.2. Fabric Types:100% Cotton or (80% Cotton/20% Polyester) fabric can be on white or dark coloured fabric.100% Polyester fabric or (65% Poly/35% Cotton) can be white or a light colour fabric, including Hi-Vis fabric.TrueDry® fabric (60% Cotton/40% Polyester) can be white or a light colour fabric. SAMPLES
Sample Policy; At Uniforms.com.au, we understand the importance of seeing and feeling a product before committing to a larger order. While we’d love to send out free samples to everyone, here’s why we can’t: All garments are dispatched as brand new, and we follow strict quality and hygiene protocols that prevent us from reusing or reselling returned items.There are also significant costs associated with:
- Samples not being returned.
- Items returned in unsatisfactory condition.
- Time spent processing, dispatching, and following up on samples.
- Supplier restocking fees and administration.
Here's How Our Sample Process Works:
- All samples must be purchased upfront and are charged at the listed price plus any applicable delivery fees.
- Samples cannot be sent out unpaid or on approval.
- If you proceed with a bulk order (50+ units of the sampled style), we’re often happy to credit the sample cost back – just ask our team when ordering. Limit of 1 item.
- Samples can be returned to us for decoration if required.
Returning Samples:
- Should you require to send back samples, by law we do not have to accept them but we can. Please note that the garments must be repacked and retagged exactly as we received otherwise the return can not be accepted.
- Reutrn Freight charges are at customers cost.
- Samples must be returned within 7 days of receiving them.
- Samples returned will recieve a store credit only and not a refund.
- A Return Processing Fee and Restocking Fee of $30 or 10% of the order (which ever is greater) will be charged. This is oncharged to us by the logisitics company that processes all returns.
Please note that we have added size charts to every product as well as a Australian First "Fitting Room" so that you can upload a picture of yourself and try on the garments digitally.
