Product Description
The Cap That Keeps Your Entire Workforce Covered — From the Construction Site to the Corporate Event - CH77
When you need to put a cap on every head in your organisation, the economics matter as much as the product.
At $9.95 per unit, the Winning Spirit Pique Mesh Cap delivers a professional, branded headwear solution that doesn't require a line item justification to your finance team.
But low cost does not mean low specification.
The 100% polyester pique mesh construction provides genuine breathability — the open-weave fabric promotes airflow and wicks moisture, which is the difference between a cap your team wears all day and one they take off the moment they're out of sight.
The UPF 50+ rating means this cap is doing real work in Australian conditions — blocking 98%+ of UV radiation for outdoor staff who are exposed to the sun across a full shift.
The 6-panel structured design and adjustable velcro closure produce a clean, professional silhouette that photographs well for team photos, site documentation, and brand assets — and fits virtually every head without a sizing conversation.
Available in seven colours including Fluoro Yellow and Fluoro Orange for hi-vis safety compliance, and standard colours for corporate, hospitality, and promotional applications.
Scale your order and save — the more you buy, the greater the discount.
30-Day Business Accounts are available for established Australian organisations.

The B2B Friction-Free Guide
Durability
The 100% polyester construction is selected specifically for workwear durability.
Polyester resists fading, shrinking, and distortion through repeated machine washing — the cap maintains its structured shape and colour vibrancy across a full uniform rotation cycle.
The pique mesh weave is inherently resilient under the friction and compression of daily wear, without the pilling or surface degradation that affects cotton-blend alternatives.
For high-rotation programs where caps are worn daily and laundered frequently, the polyester construction is the correct specification.
Decoration
The CH77 is embroidery-ready, with the front panel providing a clean, structured surface for logo placement.
The 6-panel construction and firm front panel ensure embroidery sits flat and consistent across every unit in your order — no puckering, no distortion.
At Uniforms.com.au, embroidery is handled in-house — consistent stitch quality and accurate colour matching across your full order run, with no third-party decorators and no batch variation.
Screen printing on the peak is also available for high-volume orders where cost-per-unit optimisation is the priority.
Sizing
The adjustable velcro closure provides a secure, comfortable fit across a wide range of head sizes without requiring individual sizing.
This makes the CH77 genuinely one-size-fits-all for practical purposes — one SKU, one order, one invoice, zero sizing complexity.
Account Terms
Established Australian organisations can apply for a 30-Day Business Account, enabling invoice-based procurement aligned with standard accounts payable cycles.

Real-World Logic: This Cap Across Two Very Different Australian Workplaces
Scenario A — Construction Site, Western Australia
A civil construction company needs 300 caps for a new site crew starting in six weeks.
The Site Manager needs Fluoro Yellow for compliance with the site's PPE colour coding, embroidered with the company logo on the front panel, and delivered before induction day.
The CH77 answers that brief precisely — the fluoro colour meets hi-vis requirements, the structured front panel holds the embroidery cleanly, and the velcro closure means every crew member gets a cap that fits without a sizing exercise.
At $9.95 per unit, 300 caps is a $2,985 line item — not a budget conversation.
Scenario B — Corporate Golf Day, Victoria
A financial services firm is running its annual client golf day for 120 guests.
The Events Manager needs a branded cap in Navy that looks intentional rather than like a throwaway giveaway, and can be ordered, embroidered, and delivered within two weeks.
The CH83 (Navy) answers that brief — the 6-panel structured design photographs well on the course, the UPF 50+ rating is a genuine functional benefit for a full day outdoors, and the in-house embroidery at Uniforms.com.au means the Events Manager receives one invoice and one delivery, not a coordination exercise across multiple suppliers.
Same product, two completely different applications — that is the range of the CH77 series.
Workwear Cap vs. Retail Cap: The Honest Comparison
| Criteria | CH77 Pique Mesh Cap — Workwear Grade | Generic Retail Cap |
|---|---|---|
| Sun Protection | UPF 50+ rated — blocks 98%+ UV radiation | No UPF rating — unknown sun protection |
| Fabric Performance | 100% polyester pique mesh — breathable, moisture-wicking | Cotton or cotton-blend — absorbs sweat, slower to dry |
| Wash Durability | Polyester resists fading and shrinking through repeated washing | Cotton fades and shrinks, losing shape over time |
| Sizing | Adjustable velcro — one size covers all, no sizing exercise | Fixed sizes — requires individual measurement and multiple SKUs |
| Hi-Vis Availability | Fluoro Yellow and Fluoro Orange for PPE compliance | No hi-vis options — not suitable for safety environments |
| Decoration Readiness | Structured front panel engineered for embroidery | Unstructured panels — inconsistent embroidery results |
| Bulk Pricing | Tiered discounts for team and promotional orders | Fixed retail price regardless of volume |
| Account Terms | 30-Day Business Accounts available | Retail pricing only, no trade terms |
B2B Intelligence FAQ
Q1: Can we have our company logo embroidered on the CH77 Pique Mesh Cap?
Yes. The CH77's structured 6-panel front panel is specifically suited to embroidery — the firm surface holds stitch density without puckering or distortion.
All embroidery is handled in-house at Uniforms.com.au, ensuring consistent stitch quality and accurate colour matching across every unit in your order.
Provide your artwork file and we will include a decoration quote alongside your garment pricing.
Q2: Do the Fluoro Yellow and Fluoro Orange colours meet Australian hi-vis PPE requirements?
The CH77 (Fluoro Yellow) and CH78 (Fluoro Orange) are high-visibility colours suitable for use in construction, traffic management, warehousing, and outdoor safety environments.
For specific AS/NZS compliance requirements, we recommend confirming the applicable standard with your WHS advisor, as hi-vis compliance depends on the full ensemble and specific site requirements rather than individual garments alone.
Contact our team for further guidance on hi-vis headwear for your specific application.
Q3: What is the minimum order quantity for bulk pricing?
There is no fixed minimum order quantity for standard cap orders.
Our tiered pricing structure rewards volume at every level — whether you're ordering 20 caps for a small team event or 2,000 caps for a national promotional campaign.
Contact our B2B team with your quantities and colour requirements for a tailored quote.
Q4: Can we order multiple colours on a single invoice?
Yes. Multiple colours from the CH77 series can be ordered in a single transaction with consolidated invoicing.
This is useful for organisations that need Fluoro Yellow for site crews and Navy or Black for office or event staff — one order, one invoice, one delivery.
Q5: How does the velcro closure compare to snapback or fitted closures?
The velcro crossover strap provides a continuously adjustable fit across a wider range of head sizes than a snapback, and eliminates the sizing complexity of fitted caps entirely.
For large team orders where individual head measurement is impractical, the velcro closure is the most operationally efficient option — one SKU, one size, zero exceptions.
Q6: Is the CH77 suitable for food service and hospitality environments?
Yes. The 100% polyester construction is non-absorbent and machine washable, making it suitable for food service environments where hygiene and easy laundering are requirements.
The structured design and clean silhouette also meet the presentation standards expected in hospitality, retail, and customer-facing roles.
Q7: What is the turnaround time for a large embroidered order?
Because embroidery is managed entirely in-house, we have direct control over production scheduling and can provide a confirmed turnaround at the point of order confirmation.
For time-critical programs — site inductions, event merchandise, seasonal staff onboarding — contact us early to discuss priority scheduling options.

InHouse Branding Experts
With over 30 years experience in the uniform & merchandise industry, we know from "experience" what form of branding works best with what type of products.
Trust the company trusted by over 23,000 Australians to take your brand to the next level and elevate you above your competitors.

Put Your Brand on Their Head — And in Everyone’s Sight
Headwear is one of the most powerful yet underrated tools for brand exposure. Unlike many other uniform items, caps and hats sit at eye level — making your logo instantly visible in conversations, on job sites, at events, and in everyday public settings.
Every time your team steps outside, they become a walking billboard, creating repeated impressions that build familiarity and trust with your brand.
Branded headwear also travels further than most uniforms. Caps are often worn beyond work hours — to the gym, the shops, weekend sport, or social events — extending your brand’s reach well past the workplace.
Beyond visibility, headwear creates unity and professionalism. A well-designed cap or hat completes a uniform, reinforces team identity, and signals credibility to customers. When your team looks consistent and confident, your brand feels established and trustworthy — and that perception is priceless in competitive markets.

Small Gift. Big Impact. Maximum Brand Return.
Headwear is one of the most cost-effective promotional products you can offer — yet it delivers outsized impact.
For a relatively low investment per unit, you can reward loyal customers with something practical, wearable, and genuinely appreciated. Unlike many giveaway items that get discarded, a quality cap or hat has real perceived value, making it far more likely to be kept and worn repeatedly.
Because headwear is functional and versatile, customers don’t see it as “just another promo item.” They wear it to events, on weekends, at sporting games, and on holidays — giving your brand ongoing exposure long after the initial interaction. Each wear creates new impressions, turning a simple thank-you gift into a mobile advertisement that keeps working for you.
Best of all, branded headwear feels generous without stretching your budget. It allows you to reward customers, celebrate milestones, or support promotions while maintaining strong margins. It’s a smart, scalable way to build loyalty, increase brand visibility, and leave a lasting impression — all for very little cost.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
How long has Uniforms.com.au been in business?
We started last century! 1999 to be exact. We are still the same family owned and operated and have made life long friends that were once new customers.
Do you outsource your embroidery & printing?
We are one of the very few uniform businesses in this country that have actually invested in to our own embroidery and print machines.
By keeping your branding in house, we are able to produce high quality merchandise with quicker time lines.
Are you Australian based?
100% owned and operated right here in Australia. We service the entire country as well as New Zealand and overseas customers from our factory in Australia.
What if I can't find what I am looking for on your site?
Our online store displays all our biggest selling and most popular products. Chances are that if you have a unique request not displayed on the site, we possibly still have it!
We continually add products daily to the site to keep it up to date but by all means, start a live chat with us if you can not find what you are looking for. We are here to help.
What artwork file format do you need?
For Embroidery, we can operate with any file.
For Printing, we prefer vector files such as EPS or PDF.
Vector artwork ensures clean, sharp branding and accurate reproduction across embroidery and printing.
What is stitch count and how does it affect price?
Stitch count refers to the number of stitches used in an embroidered logo.
Higher stitch counts mean more detail and higher production time, which increases cost. Simple logos are more cost-effective, while detailed designs cost more.
What is the difference between embroidery and screen printing?
Embroidery is a premium, highly durable option ideal for polos, shirts, and jackets.
Screen printing is best for large, colourful designs and high-volume orders, offering excellent visual impact at a lower cost per unit.
How do I determine the right size for my staff?
We recommend using half-chest measurements, which are the most accurate way to size uniforms consistently across brands and styles.
This method reduces sizing errors and ensures a better fit than relying on generic S-XL sizing alone.
Can we mix and match uniform styles but still look cohesive?
Yes — mixing styles works well when there is consistency in colour, branding, and fit.
Using the same logo placement, colour palette, and garment category ensures a unified, professional appearance while giving staff flexibility.
How often should uniforms be replaced?
Uniforms should be reviewed every 12–18 months.
Replacement timing depends on job role, wash frequency, and brand standards. Regular reviews help maintain a consistent, professional image and ensure staff comfort and safety.
What is the best fabric for daily wear and workplace durability?
The best fabrics for everyday workwear are breathable, durable fabric blends, such as cotton-polyester combinations.
These blends offer comfort, strength, colour retention, and reduced shrinkage, making them ideal for long shifts, frequent washing, and physically demanding workplaces.
How many uniforms should each staff member have?
We recommend 3–5 uniform sets per staff member.
This allows for daily wear, washing cycles, and unexpected spills or damage while maintaining a professional appearance at all times. Having multiple sets also extends the lifespan of each garment and reduces last-minute uniform stress for your team.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes — bulk discounts are available.
Larger orders reduce unit costs, making bulk purchasing the most economical option for growing teams.
How long does it take for my order to be delivered?
Typical timelines are:
3–5 working days for standard printing
10–15 working days for custom embroidery or larger orders
Delivery times may vary based on stock availability and order complexity.
We are a large business, are you able to assist with our unique needs?
Absolutely! We have serviced some of Australia's most well known brands throughout this great country. Reach out to us and let us show you how we can streamline your uniform ordering process.
How should I care for printed or embroidered garments?
To maximise garment life:
Wash inside out
Use cold or cool water
Avoid tumble drying
Do not iron directly over prints
Proper care preserves colour, shape, and branding.
Are there eco-friendly or sustainable promotional products?
Yes — we offer a wide range of eco-friendly and sustainable promotional products, including recycled, reusable, and biodegradable options.
What are the most effective promotional products?
Popular and effective promotional items include pens, mugs, bags, and drink tumblers.
These products offer high visibility, daily use, and strong brand recall.
