To get a half chest measurement for clothing, lay the garment flat on a surface.
Measure from one side seam to the other, just below the armpits, ensuring the tape measure is parallel to the bottom hem.
Record the measurement in centimeters or inches.
This measurement gives you the half chest width, which can be doubled for the full chest circumference.
